Hotel De France - Valence (Drome)

The top-floor room offered a comfortable retreat with modern decor and a well-appointed bathroom.

Unfortunately, the promised EV charging station was out of order, which put a damper on the convenience of the booked parking spot. The requirement for a €100 security deposit seemed excessive, especially given the underwhelming state of the carpet. The marks on it weren't what one expects from a place in this price range.

The hotel offers a unique charm that makes

For a nice stay. I particularly appreciated the modern decor in the Classic Double Room, and the spacious bathroom was a nice touch. The breakfast options were somewhat limited. Parking was secure and convenient.

In overall the room was fairly quiet and airy and with walk-in shower. Location: the hotel was so close to local restaurants as well as the centre of the town.

Our classic double room came with with bathtub, a great bed and the best shower. Also, location was marvellous and fab, around 10-15 minutes walk from La Maison des Tetes. Furthermore, the area was lovely.

Facilities were amazing, even so Wi-Fi was very poor.

The location of this hotel is just perfect if you want to visit Valence. The spacious and enclosed parking is very handy!!

Great Hotel even better for me that the owner is a car enthusiast. Our late booking meant we got a small room but overall it's a 10 out of 10 from us. Will definitely be going back and this time for more than 1 night

A longer stay

The hotel’s secure parking and modern decor added a sense of comfort during our stay. We especially appreciated the express breakfast that provided just the right amount of fuel for our day.

Beautiful area, central location next to restaurants / shops and the autoroute. For tea or coffee visit Fresh juice bar nearby.

Fast Wi-Fi and polite staff. Luggage storage was useful, but no kettle in room.

Well positioned on the on the edge of the monumental city center, easy to reach and find, comfortable bathroom and superb shower, reception and bar are nice and cosy.

Room too small with no space for a desk, curtain rail loosened, bartender not involved, more interested in preparing the dining room.

The location is perfect, just steps away from charming restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly. The cleanliness of my room was excellent, complemented by comfortable bed linens.

Limited dining options.

Lovely modern hotel. Secure parking behind hotel. Lovely room. Close to everything, sites and shops (unfortunately these were closed as we arrived on Sat night). Would have liked to have stayed longer but we were driving back to the UK. Kettle in room so we didn't have breakfast there. Staff were excellent and went to great lengths in the bar to find a match my husband wanted to watch.

Couple's Comfortable Escape

This place is in a great central location, perfect for taking walks with our dog in that nice park nearby. The staff were helpful, especially when we had luggage, they made it easy for us, and the room was surprisingly quiet even with the window closed.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but still decent enough for the experience.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
